DEWALT 12-Inch Sliding Compound Miter Saw, Double Bevel (DWS780)

While Makita is my go-to brand for hand tools and generally enything power tools(including a Makita vacum I proudly own), but in this case comparing reviews, there was nothing that illuminated the Makita Miter saw as stand out from the Dewalt saw, and the Dewalt 12 Inch Miter saw came in at a really good price point, compared to everything else on the market.View Now

In a lot of cases, when you need a vacuum most, a power outlet is nowhere in site. Think of the grid, in your car, camping, you name it! With the Makita cordless vacuum you can use all of your other compatible drill batteries to power it. As an additional attachment, the cycle is highly recommended to sift out bigger debris from the main holding compartment.View Now

You will see two main version the strait flat black cord and and the multi wire configuration. Find four options of PCI-e connectors hand picked for crypto mining rigs, below. Mining Rig Needed Component List(Not as critical but still needed)

Hard Drive

When it comes to the hard drive for your mining rig, you are going to want at least a 125GB SSD(Solid State Drive). Western Digital is by far the most common name in the memory storage and drive space, but a few more competitors have leveled the playing field more recently.Western Digital(WD) 120GB SSD($56)Kingston 120GB SSD($28.99)Hyundai 120GB SSD($21.99)Compare 120GB SSDs

Mining Rig Cases

You can always build your own mining case, a comon go to is the metal modular racking systems that provide good airflow, but the prebuild do provide exactly what you are looking for.Kingwin Mining Rig Case($129.99)Funplaysmart Stackable Mining Rig Case($139.99)Funplaysmart Fans Included Stackable Mining Rig Case($190.99)Compare Mining Rig Cases

Depending on which mining rig case you wind up buying, or building, your case may already be bundled with fans. Be sure to double check descriptions some will show fans on the rig in the picture, but not actually include them. If you are concerned about your mining rig being loud, be sure to get fans with a low decibel rating.Noctua NF-P14s Fan($16.95)Corsair AF120 LED Fan 3 Pack($39.99)View All Mining Rig Fans

Operating System

I have always gone with Windows, currently on Windows 10. There are work arounds to avoid the $100+ license, but it is always been worth it to utilize Windows. Want to keep it lean, check out HiveOS mining software.Check out HiveOSCheck out Windows10

Mining Rig General Q & A

-Why Gold? it might seem like a fancy overdue, but gold is one of the few minerals that is highly corrosion resistant, making it ideal for electronic connections.
-What is the biggest difference between AMD 6800 XT and the normal AMD 6800? For mining purposes, the XT will yield you slightly higher hash rate( about 1-2 Mh/s depending on your mining algorithm) but has a significantly higher electricity consumption in terms of wattage, making it not as ideal for energy efficiency and return on your mining rig investment.
-If I'm using Windows, do I need 64-bit Windows? Yes the biggest difference is if you are building a custom PC or mining rig you need Windows 64-bit so your software is not locked to components, in case you need to upgrade or replace them in the future. With 32 bit the Windows Software will be more or less locked to to that initial computer build when you initially register it and you can run into issues if you ever have to fix parts or want to rebuild your rig.
